Had dinner here twice. The food was delicious. The cocktails are both great and really good value (I think they are undercharging - hope you're not reading this!). The staff were lovely. Our dog was also made very welcome. The atmosphere was just really friendly and relaxed.

Lovely food and great service in a pleasant atmosphere. Our second visit and both the food and service lives up to our first visit. Staff friendly and attentive but not ‘in your face’. Some lovely food options including veggie, vegan and gluten free, all freshly cooked and served. Didn’t stay over but if the car area is anything to go by, the rooms should be lovely.

Went for afternoon tea using buyagift voucher. Staff lovely and the food was also nice, coffee perfect. Interior and atmosphere cosy. Afternoon tea i usually prefer larger slices of pie/cake instead of bite sizes but Nethertheless was was nice :)

We had an excellent overnight stay here and delicious evening meal. The quality of the room far exceeded our expectations for a pub with rooms. We’ve stayed in far more expensive hotels with less going for them than the County! Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. All in all, excellent value for money.

Stayed recently on a Sunday Stop Over dinner, bed and breakfast deal in a king size dog friendly room. Unbelievable value for money. Room spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Dinner service prompt and efficient, staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast very enjoyable. Thank you County Hotel for a great stay.

Called in for breakfast after a hospital appointment. Had a lovely meal ( I had veggie option) which was a very reasonable price and included Tea or coffee and toast. Lounge was very comfortable and homely. Staff friendly and the restrooms were very clean. Will definitely call for a meal in the future.
